Orientation for New Graduate Students and Reception to be held Wed., August 21

Graduate students gather outside of Chemistry Building at orientation in 2012A half-day orientation program for all new Penn State graduate students will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. on Wed., August 21, in Eisenhower Auditorium on the University Park campus. Sessions during the orientation will cover topics such as using eLion, mentoring, and graduate student services and benefits. All new international graduate students are required to attend the student services and benefits session.

Unit representative distributes handouts to graduate students at the reception held in 2012A reception to welcome new and returning graduate students to the academic year will be held immediately following the orientation program in the lobby of Kern Graduate Building beginning at 5 p.m. The reception is an opportunity for students to meet members of the Penn State community and to explore the various services offered by the University organizations that will be represented at the event.
