National Postdoc Association
Founded in 2003, the National Postdoctoral Association is a professional association that serves the postdoctoral community. NPA addresses issues related postdoctoral fellows and provides information and resources that concern both domestic and International postdoctoral trainees. To know more about teh resources that NPA provides to the postdocs, please visit www.nationalpostdoc.org. Penn State University is a sustaining member of NPA. All PSU postdocs can make use of the affiliate membership and use their PSU email id and log in. If you have any questions, with this, please contact pxe10@psu.edu.
Individual Development Plan
All postdoctoral fellows are encouraged to draft an Individual Development Plan (IDP). Here is an example for an IDP.

Books of Interests
- Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) and Burroughs Wellcome Fund have published a book titled "Making the Right Moves: A Practical Guide to Scientific Management for Postdocs and New Faculty".
