University Park -- Judges Needed for Graduate Exhibition
More than 200 students will compete in the 20th Annual Graduate Exhibition
set to take place March 18 and 20, on the Penn State University Park campus.
Judges are still needed for the Poster and Visual Arts presentations to
be given on Sunday, March 20. Faculty, staff, and graduate students willing
to participate as judges may register online by completing the Judge
Sign-up Form.
For the Poster and Visual Arts presentations, judges are asked to evaluate between three and five presentations, which are assigned at random. Judges visit the students whose work they have been asked to judge, and the students then are required to give a five-minute oral presentation on their work in terms that a non-expert would understand. Following the presentations, judges complete a score sheet and may provide written feedback to the students.
An orientation session for judges of the Poster and Visual Arts presentations will be held on Sunday, March 20, at 10 a.m. in Room 302 of the HUB-Robeson Center.
For additional information on judging, please visit the Judging and Awards section of the Graduate Exhibition pages on our site. Abstracts submitted by students who have entered the Exhibition are also available online for review.
