Postdoctoral Information
Postdoctoral education, supported by research funding from external grants or contracts awarded to University faculty, enables the recent recipient of a Ph.D. or other advanced degree an opportunity to develop further specialized research skills, learn new techniques, or enter into new fields of scholarship. See the report by the Committee on Postdoctoral Fellows on recommendations for strengthening opportunities for postdoctoral fellows and scholars. Postdoctoral fellows and scholars are the future leaders in their respective fields, and, thereby, remain one of the most important contributions that Penn State's academic community can provide to society and to our collective futures. For information on available postdoctoral positions, contact your specific program of study.
